Client stories

Logo system

Helland Law Group

+

Even a basic branding package with a logo, print collateral, and a tagline is an opportunity to tell a compelling story. In the process of crafting Helland Law Group's branding, we got the idea of creating a business card for their office dog, Slater. The card was hit with clients. As we continued to work with Helland, this initial bit of whimsy grew into a brand that feature's Slater as a brand mascot. It turns out nothing humanizes lawyers like a dog. Corporate branding

TAPCO Credit Union

+

At an enterprise scale, branding is much more complex than just a logo, some stationary, and a tagline. It requires a long process that is as methodical as it is creative. Starting with stakeholder interviews and competitive research, we crafted a complete brand strategy for TAPCO Credit Union. As a multi-branch credit union seeking greater brand recognition in the local market, TAPCO’s list of needs ran the gamut: brand positioning, brand guide, logo design, print and promotional collateral, tagline, brand anthem, video production, web and app refresh, POS pieces, environmental graphics, and much more. We found the through-line for TAPCO’s rebranding in one key thought: unlike big banks, TAPCO actually cares. To see the full corporate branding project, go to the TAPCO portfolio page.

Brand Family

Dave Purchase Project

+

As companies and organizations evolve organically, sometimes branding efforts have a tough time keeping up with the growth and change. That's where we can come into create brand consistency between a parent company and its "offspring", a business and its product line, or an organization and its programs. Point Defiance AIDS Projects (PDAP) was the legal entity behind the Tacoma Needle Exchange, our nation's first legal syringe exchange program. It also operated the North American Syringe Exchange Network, a national network of harm-reduction providers who bought supplies in bulk together to keep costs low. This mix of programs and brand names was creating confusion for PDAP's clients, partners, employees, and funders. Our job was to help the client create a brand family with a consistent look and feel, and it all started with re-working the name of PDAP, their parent organization. Common Questions

What should I expect at my first meeting?+

What should I expect at my first meeting?

We’re a design firm. So, we’re a little different. Hoodies are the height of fashion here in our office. If we’re feeling fancy, we might slip on a sport coat, but chances are, we’ll balance the equation with a pair of Converse. Set up a meeting. It's free. We'll slurp coffee, get to know each other, and figure out how we can help.

What's the difference between brand and logo?+

How much does branding cost?+

The cost of branding varies. Want an existing logo touched up on an hourly basis? Your project could easily cost less than $1,000. Looking for a year-long corporate rebrand with several dozen big deliverables? It could run 100 times more (and be worth every penny). We're happy to find the right fit for your needs.

Now that you've seen what we can do, let's schedule a time to hang out.
